Who We Are Becoming

I wanted to send one more message for today and share with you some experiences I have had while in the middle of COVID19 that I remembered this weekend as I was listening to General Conference:

  1. God lives and He loves us. I have seen that in the 4 different cities I have lived in since March that has taught me, that while I havent really been able to meet members and people for the last 7 months, I have connected with them on a different level (technology, and waving and saying hi to people I pass everyday). It isn't perfect what we have had to go through, but from what we learned this weekend: Even righteous people have to go through some heartache. I know that as we humbly submit to Heavenly Father and His perfect timing and His perfect love, we will indeed make it to the finish line.
  2. We can be creative even when we have absolutely zero clue about what to do each day. Haha now that may seem odd and strange to say, but I know that as we pray like Nephi did for help to build our ships, A.K.A. share the Gospel in different and unique ways than we are used to, that we will be led and inspired about what to do.
  3. We are being formed into who we need to be. Why do we have to do this? Why do we have to have sadness and trials come when every part and ounce of our life was a success as of 7 months ago? Because, Jesus Christ experienced it for us, so that when these things did come, we could have an eternal perspective on things, and get through the near sighted things.

I know this Gospel of Jesus Christ is true and that it blesses us as we follow the exemplar which is Christ Himself. Pray and read the scriptures diligently everyday, because they truly pave the way to eternal life.

I love you all forever and always!
